USPA NEWS - PETRONAS celebrated the record-breaking sixth consecutive FIA Formula One™ World Championship double with Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas at the PETRONAS Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Motorsport secured the constructors' championship at the 2019 Japanese Grand Prix in mid-October.

PETRONAS celebrated the record-breaking sixth consecutive FIA Formula One™ World Championship double with Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas at the PETRONAS Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia yesterday.  Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Motorsport secured the constructors’ championship at the 2019 Japanese Grand Prix in mid-October. Three weeks later, Lewis Hamilton claimed his sixth drivers’ title in the United States. This year’s double championship success guarantees Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Motorsport a place in the F1 history books – never before in the 70-year-long history of the sport has a team been able to win six consecutive double world championships.
